Even if you’re not the kind of person who really enjoys warm, sunny weather, you’re bound to get antsy after a cold, wet winter that’s already overstayed its welcome. It must’ve been a relief to hear that spring is officially here, but unfortunately for the residents of the Buckeye State, there’s going to be a winter redux:
Wintry weather is coming back to Ohio.
Following a warm, sunny weekend and mild start to the work week, temperatures are expected to drop sharply on Tuesday — bringing a chance of snow to many parts of the state.
The National Weather Service expects highs to stay in the 30s on Tuesday, with lows dipping into the 20s. A wintry mix of rain and snow is expected to greet commuters Tuesday morning.
Many parts of the state could get an inch of snow, but because the ground is warm it probably won’t stay around long.
The latest snowfall comes nearly a month after the official start of spring.
If you’ve been postponing house chores and repairs to wait for better weather, it looks like you’re going to have to get a move on, because the ideal conditions you’ve been waiting for are a long time coming.
